Today in math camp we learned about Ada Byron Lovelace. She was the daughter of Lord Byron. She was born in 1815 and died in 1852, in her thirties. She was home schooled, and made a machine called the flying machine. She was an important figure in computer science. She probably died because of the multiple types of illness. After that we learned about Algebra tiles. The tiles were easy to understand and use, and that help with solving equations. An equation is any mathematical expression that has and equal sign. Next, the counting priniciple, the definition is when there are m ways of doing one thing and n ways of another thing there are n times m ways of doing both. Then polyherdrons, we talked about platonic solids. Platonic solids have the face of a polygon, straight sides, the same corners, and the same faces. There are five platonic solids. Then three speakers were talking about dieceases and STEM. After that, we came here and made more polynomials. Here is the one I created today.
